• DevOps engineers or cloud engineers who need hands-on development experience
• IT professionals with some programming background who want to validate their AWS development skills
• Anyone preparing to take the AWS Certified Developer – Associate (DVA-C01) exam
• Persons with at least one year of hands-on experience developing and maintaining AWS-based applications (recommended, though not strictly required)

• Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js)
• Basic working knowledge of AWS core services and architecture best practices
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC), version control systems, and CI/CD concepts
• Basic understanding of cloud-native application patterns, containers, serverless design, and security practices

• Understand AWS core services, architectural best practices, and the shared responsibility model AWS Static+1
• Use AWS SDKs, the AWS CLI, and APIs to write, deploy, and manage applications
• Design, develop, and deploy serverless applications using Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines (CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline)
• Secure application code and data via IAM roles, policies, encrypted communications, and key management
• Refactor and modernize applications to benefit from AWS-managed services
• Instrument applications, monitor logs/metrics, and troubleshoot failures using CloudWatch, X-Ray, and other tools
• Prepare and confidently attempt the DVA-C01 certification exam

• Deploy written code in AWS using CI/CD pipelines, processes, patterns
• Use AWS CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline
• Deploy applications using Elastic Beanstalk
• Prepare deployment packages (dependencies, configuration)

• Create metric filters, CloudWatch alarms, and notifications (SNS, EventBridge)
• Remediation: configure automated actions via EventBridge / Systems Manager / AWS Config rules
